Our clients investment lending division is involved in providing investment loans and financial products for gearing into shares and managed funds. It is one of the country’s leading providers of investment loan products and is rapidly expanding, and as a result an opportunity has arisen for a Securities Associate to join the team.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the workflow is managed within the securities team. This would involve over-seeing the day to day operation of the team’s work which includes processing transactions required for stock settlements, stock transfers, and stock reconciliations. Previous experience in domestic equity settlements is essential coupled with a positive “can do” attitude. This position is highly deadline driven so the ability to priorities and handle large volumes of work is essential. As a Senior Team member you will also be required to handle escalated cases therefore exceptional problem solving and client service skills are required to be successful in this role. The business is constantly changing therefore a proactive attitude and the ability to drive change to reduce risk and improve efficiency is essential.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Have the ability to build positive working relationships both internally and externally. Be a team player who thrives on working in deadline driven environment whilst having a flexible attitude during high volumes of work load. Have a solid understanding of CHESS and ASX regulations. Self motivated and task focused team player able to demonstrate an exceptional attention to detail.
