Prudential Risk Manager, Financial Markets - Sydney

One of Australia's most respected and iconic financial services organisations now has a requirement for a Prudential Risk Manager for a 6 month contract.

The main focus of the role is to manage the day to day prudential supervisory function and to ensure that prudential policy remains appropriate given current and future products and markets.

Key accountabilities will see you identify or assist in identifying any changes to the capital framework to reflect existing and future markets, products, participant’s categories, overseas trends and changes in accounting or prudential standards.

You will also provide support and development to three staff members who will be reporting to you.

You will have a background in Financial Markets Prudential Risk or you will have a background in Assurance & Advisory Business Services.

Those who have exposure to securities or banking and have exposure to regulatory capital frameworks will be highly regarded.

People management skills will also be looked upon highly.

This is a highly sought after senior contract role within an icon of the Australian Financial Services sector.
