My client is currently looking to employ a talented individual to drive and manage an established marketing / business development business unit. This organisation is looking for aggressive expansion over the next couple of years and this newly created role will ensure that current and/or future clients are managed and dealt with at the current high standards.

Reporting in to the CEO responsibilities will include:
- Marketing, analysis and evaluation as well as driving the business unit forward, in line with corporate objectives
- Day to day management of internal staff
- Relationship building with existing & new clients where applicable.
- Identifying opportunities for revenue growth
- Setting targets and driving revenue
- Preparation of monthly reports for management
- Coordination of client events / seminars / sponsorships
- Coordination of all client activities and ensuring relevant information reaches other departments
- Ensure process is efficient and cost effective

Candidates should have:
- Minimum 5 years experience within marketing / business development with a Financial Services Organisation and an understanding of the Financial Markets
- Experience in managing small teams
- Highly developed presentation skills
- Highly developed awareness of the business development/marketing function within the organisation
- High degree of computer literacy, including an intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and superior interpersonal skills, and confidence in the ability to liaise with people at all levels
- Strong sense of initiative and capacity to work with minimal guidance and supervision when required.
