Market Analyst - Sydney

As an integral member of this boutique Australian company that is a specialist in providing bespoke data mining, statistical analysis and integration of high performance, mission critical statistical systems your role will include

- Analysis of market characteristics and client trading performance
- Preparation of reports
- Ensuring data integrity
- Creating statistical trading models and managing risk
- Developing software specifications and testing
- Risk analysis and research

The successful individuals will require:

- Bachelor, Masters or PHD in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Econometrics with good GPA
- Ability to work with large data sets and databases.
- Good general computer skills, especially MS Office applications
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn VB.NET, SQL Server and SAS.
- Meticulous nature.
- Ability to work well in a small team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with other parts of the company.
