Investment & Taxation Accountant - Sydney

The investment management arm of a global banking organisation is now seeking an experienced Investment and Taxation Accountant.

This role will focus on the preparation of investment accounting, tax and audit work papers, monthly accounting and tax reconciliation reports, quarterly distribution calculations, annual tax statements, tax and statutory accounting for our clients administered funds and companies.

Key responsibilities for this role include preparation of daily rates calculations, provision of accounting, tax and audit information services, assisting in daily unit pricing and assisting in monitoring data integrity and improving transaction entry processes and procedures.

Together with the above responsibilities you will also assist in improving on processes and procedures used to provide efficient and accurate tax reporting out of HiPortfolio for unit pricing and group tax.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience in financial services with a strong knowledge of business analysis and problem investigation together with strong analytical skills.

Those with experience in accounting management systems such as HiPortfolio, MYOB and SAP will be highly regarded.
