GIS Graduates

This organisation is currently looking for GIS Graduates to liaise with the regional offices in Newcastle, Wollongong and Sydney to develop and implement a new major project that will affect all areas of their business.

In this role, you will be required to work within a team on developing the new mapping system that is based on issues within rural areas. You will need to be familiar with using Microsoft Access and Excel, a good working knowledge of the ArcGIS desktop software (Arcview, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo), especially the editing tools and Personal Geodatabase concepts.

You will be required to work with with large spatial datasets, working knowledge is preferred. As you will be working and liaising with other business officers in the regional offices, you will have good interpersonal skills and be self-motivated.

This is an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
