If you're working in a huge team in a Custodian or Funds Management company and you're sick of being just a cog in a wheel then this is the ideal role for you.... This is a fantastic opportunity to join an independent wholesale specialist fund manager with a long track record in property funds management.

Use your previous Fund Accountant experience to take on greater responsibility, broaden your role and really add value to a business.

Responsibilities:

* Take full responsibility for Funds and Property Accoutning for the Trusts
* Ensure that current and future procedures are efficient and best practice
* Liaise with external accounting firm on a continual basis in relation to the Fund and Property Accounting function for the Trust
* Check and verify monthly unit pricing for the Trust which is produced by the custodian
* Facilitate the establishment of budgets
* Produce the annual (and half yearly when required) statutory accounts for the Trust
* Liaise with the auditors on an annual (and half yearly basis when required) and manage the audit process for the Trust.
* Calculate and organise the six monthly distribution for the Trust.
* Provide fund financial data on request to unit holders on Ad hoc query basis.
* Initiate and maintain financial modelling including property project feasibilities
* Double check spread sheets, financial data in Due Diligence modelling etc
* Manage and monitor the ongoing requirements under the project debt facility on a monthly basis.

There is a senior fund accountant who works part time, who has developed the systems and will be available to closely monitor and assist with all aspects of the role, however with your strong Fund Accounting experience you should be able to add value and hit the ground running.
