External Auditors for Insurance and Investment Management - London

Our Insurance and Investment Management group is the largest of the four main business groups within our Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice in London, having over 500 partners and staff within the group with a total revenue of approximately £80m.

We are looking for audit professionals to join the group in:

- Insurance
- Life
- General
- Lloyds and London Market and Brokers.

and / or

- Investment ManagementAsset management
- Hedge funds
- Pension Funds
- Unit trusts
- Private equity
- Real estate and investment trusts.

You will work in teams, varying in size, reporting to an Audit Manager and Partner, typically working alongside other Audit Senior Associates. Over a typical audit season you are likely to work on several of our clients.

Requirements

We expect you to have strong technical knowledge, be used to working to tight deadlines and handling pressure, be a good all round team player and be able to demonstrate the ability to build strong client relationships.

You should be ACA or similarly qualified, you will have previous auditing experience and a financial services background would be preferable. Other relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP, and auditing frameworks such as UK ISA’s and Sarbanes-Oxley.

We are ideally looking for candidates with UK experience.
