This organisation continues to experience excellent growth across all of its divisions and has a culture of challenging and rewarding its employees. Due to a positive restructure and promotion they require a technically strong individual to both lead the preparation of the group’s financial statements as well as manage the group’s FX risk. Key responsibilities are to provide leadership and direction to the team, as well as:
* Corporate FX exposure monitoring and hedging
* Annual budgets
* Group wide FX policy setting and training
* IFRS accounting hedging requirements including identification and implementation of cash flow & fair value
* Perform Legal entity control function for over 150 subsidiaries
You are a technically strong senior finance professional (with a CA background) who understands the importance of not only technical knowledge but also ‘technical leadership’. You are an experienced people manager with a desire to make an impact at the corporate level of a top tier organization. This high visibility role can lead to other challenging positions in different divisions in the future. Experience within the broader financial markets either in Australia or abroad will be very highly regarded.
