This amazing opportunity is with a major player in the fabulous and fun entertainment industry. This is a brand new team within the organization, following a restructure in finance. This is the first time a dedicated group has been assembled to focus on direct business impact of potential business development and expansion ideas.

Fresh with new and innovative plans, the Manager of this unit will delegate critical responsibilities to his Business Analysts. This would include providing support by creating new Excel models and supporting existing models, analysis of business outcomes and opportunity projects, monthly cash flow and debt levels analysis and reporting, 5 year planning with detailed scenarios, as well as multiple ad hoc projects. As there are several key lines of business, the team will start on the most vital area, and then once completed, move onto other areas of the business, keeping the work new and engaging.

Advanced MS Excel modelling skills are required, as well as experience in a similar role. Any previous experience with mergers and acquisitions would be a major asset. This is a highly driven, corporate environment, so candidates should be career minded professionals who aren't afraid of putting in extra. The ideal candidate would have a chartered accountant or merchant banking background, demonstrating achievements in a high-pressure environment, but candidates with commercial accounting experience are welcome. An accredited accounting qualification is essential. As this is a constantly changing organization with diverse interests, there will be many managerial opportunities for staff who show dedication and strong leadership potential.

This could also be an excellent advancement opportunity for a bright and energetic junior analyst who has advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to adapt quickly to climb high.
