Audit Manager - Wellington

The position of Audit Manager is a key role within the leadership team of Audit New Zealand, with a particular focus on audit and team leadership, enterprise/business development, and client relationship management. Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal form, are prerequisites for this role as is the ability to develop and motivate staff. You will also hold a Chartered Accounting membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.

The position will have direct responsibility for a number of Audits and Audit Teams.

The key areas of focus are:

• Excellent team leadership, ensuring that performance is managed, team and individual objectives are achieved, and that staff are actively coached and developed;
• Operational excellence, to achieve team and individual budget and business plan objectives; and
• Client Relationship Management, ensuring that relationships with clients are maintained and enhanced by identifying new opportunities to continue revenue growth
