Description
An Assistant Consultant is required to work in a client facing role within the Employment Solutions division of the Human Resource Services team, with a keen interest in working with organisations to generate employment cost savings and to reduce employment tax risk.

The Employment Solutions team has a highly impressive diverse client base, including FTSE 100 companies, large inward investors, fast growing entrepreneurial businesses as well as public sector clients such as NHS Trusts, Universities and Local Authorities. As such the team offers high quality and challenging work.

As part of a leading edge and growing team, you will have a background of working in the field of employment tax issues, including PAYE, NIC, Benefits in Kind and redundancy and termination advice. Experience of working on employment cost reduction initiatives such as salary sacrifice arrangements, company cars and Flexible Benefits would be helpful.

This role is extremely varied and includes a high level of consultancy work. The Employment Solutions team is part of PwC's rapidly growing HRS practice. ES provides specialist employment taxes and benefits advice as part of a multi-disciplined PwC team able to advise national and global clients on all aspects of the tax and national insurance treatment of cash or share based rewards, expenses and benefits.

Requirements

The Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 18 months experience of tax issues gained within the profession or the HM Revenue & Customs Candidates must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small, dynamic team. Strong numerical skills are a must and candidates will either be ATT qualified or interested in pursuing the qualification.
